A FEW WORDS ABOUT THE ARTIST

Heather Grandmont McQueen grew up in New Hampshire, studied Metalsmithing at Bowling Green State University, and now resides outside Cleveland, Ohio. Heather's designs are inspired by a fusion of organic and geometric forms that are elegantly understated. Her jewelry incorporates hammered metals with a focus on delicate details to give the jewelry a rustic, time worn feel with a modern edge. Her works have been featured in the Plain Dealer newspaper and in galleries and shops across North America.

WHO AM I

WHY CHOOSE SPRIG & SPARROW JEWELRY

I am a mother and an artist who loves all forms of creativity such as ceramics, painting, and up cycling. My business has allowed me the flexibility I need to be there for my kids which has been a blessing. I enjoy crafting with my two boys and going for walks as a family (hopefully with a dog in the future). I love rock hunting at the beach, but really get a thrill doing what I call treasure hunting at estate sales. I'm all about the discovery whether it is through my art or the hunt. Lastly, I love humor, laughter, and a nice smile!
